1860's Plaid Dress →
There have been a LOT of great dresses lately. I’m going to try to post as many as I can. However, I can’t post at work anymore so I can only post at home -which is why I’ve been posting at 8 or 9 at night!

a couple of very random questions that have nothing to do with the lovely little hat:
has anyone else had problems viewing their “notes” and has anyone else had a problem with porno spam-bots “reblogging” their entries only to delete them? I’d sort of like to avoid the spambots of any flavor but particularly those kinds.

A very lovely summer dinner dress from the early teens!

I really wish we had back pictures but the seller only included this one.

1880's Bodice →
This would have been a nice day bodice paired with a bustle skirt.

American Civil War Day Dress →
This striped silk day dress dates from the early 1860’s.

1860's Green Bodice →
This was redone many times after the 1860’s -most likely lastly around the Turn of the Century.

Just when you thought you were safe from more 1890’s….

1870's Brown Bustle outfit →
This looks like it was probably a nice visiting gown. The color is still rich and the overall appearance is still nice. It’s pretty much museum quality.

1860's Blue and Pink Wrapper Dress →
This is the jeans and t-shirt equivalent in the later 1860’s. Or, maybe, given the lack of care too many give in their appearance anymore, the pj pants and t-shirt.

1890's Black and Gold gown →
This is a very neat looking piece. The floral brocade almost makes the gown look like something more out of the early 1990’s than the 1890’s. Check out the back full length photo!

1890's Purple Bodice →
I know there has been a string of 1890’s outfits lately -it’s not because I’m not posting other extant outfits, it’s that that’s what’s been posted lately on various sites.

1890's Brilliant Red Bodice →
First, hello new people! I don’t post pictures over here anymore because I like to post a LOT of pictures at once -something that tumblr doesn’t do nicely. I started this so I can keep these fashions I see in online auctions online more permanently. I use these pictures to help recreate my own outfits for various eras.

Yet another attempt at a layout. I rather like this one but it will only work when I have pictures of the back, side, and front.
