It looks to be about 1860’s to me.

I think this is actually early 1900’s based on the sleeves. I get why they think it’s 1890’s though -based on the neckline and the skirt.

1890's Red and Black Bodice →
Thank you seller for providing images of the back, front, and inside. There may not be much a description and the dates are slightly off in the title but the images are wonderful.

Plaid 1890's Bodice →
I agree with the seller - most likely a “Young Miss” bodice and not for a grown woman.

I apologize for not posting regularly. Work is fun but busy right now. And my home computer died a horrible death. I’m trying to fix the home computer this evening so I can post while sitting comfortably in the sewing room contemplating what to make next. :-) I hope everyone had a Joyful Easter!

Early Edwardian Pale Pink Skirt with Lace →
I think the drawstring was added at a later time. I have seen drawstring in period pieces before but the way this one is done it looks like a later addition.

I really wish the pictures were better but at least we get an idea. (I also wish that sellers would put the clothing on -oils will destroy the fabric- or put the clothing on hangers - gravity and shoulders of already weak fabric is not good- but there isn’t much I can do about that other than gripe here. :-D ) My guess is 1880’s.

Swiss Waist with Elastic →
The Swiss Waist was popular during the 1860’s. What strikes me about this one is the elastic straps!

This is not 1800’s or Victorian. This lovely is from the early 1900’s and Edwardian. Look at that start of a pigeon front and imagine this with a wonderful s-bend corset. I really would love to see a broach near the neck on this gorgeous gown.
