All the Pretty Dresses

I’m putting this in the 1780’s but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s later.  The look is a bit too “square” to really be any earlier than the late 1780’s, but it’s still sporting the techniques that were common through the 18th Century in how stays were made.  I’m also placing this in Regency -just note it’s very early for the Regency period.

From the seller:

Homespun linen, hand woven hemp or other plant fiber lining, baleen stays, corset top & bottom edges faced in .75” white doe skin, hand embroidered CB eyelet holes, B 31”, W 27”, CFL 12”, (large, light stains, some tiny rust stains, outside linen worn away in several tiny spots) very good.
